Getting started
Sign in, find your way around, and add your first task.
Marbler keeps your tasks, lists, calendar, notes and files in one place. Everything is saved on your device first, so it opens fast and works with no connection.
Open Marbler and pick how to sign in.
- Email and password. Type both and press Sign in.
- Passkey. Press Use a passkey and use your fingerprint, face or screen lock.
- An account you already have. Press one of the Continue with buttons. If you are new, this makes your Marbler account.
If you signed up with another account, you can add a password later in Settings. You can also add passkeys and turn on two-factor sign-in there. See Your account.
The first few screens
The first time you sign in, Marbler asks a few short questions: how it should look, how tasks should look, and whether you want animations. Press Skip setup if you would rather choose later. You can change all of it in Settings.
Find your way around
On a computer, the bar down the left side holds the main places:
- Tasks for everything you need to do. See Tasks.
- Lists for groceries, projects and anything without a date. See Lists.
- Calendar for your dated tasks by month or week. See Calendar.
- Notes for pages of writing. See Notes.
- Files for documents, spreadsheets, slides and PDFs. See Files, documents and sheets.
- Habits and Focus, if you use them.
At the bottom are Search, Keyboard shortcuts and Settings. Right-click an icon in the bar to hide it.
On a phone, the same places sit in a bar along the bottom. See Marbler on your phone.
Add your first task
Press n on a computer, or tap + on a phone. Type what you need to do and press Enter. You can type a date right in the line, like "call mum tomorrow at 5pm". Marbler picks the date out for you.
It works offline
Your data lives on your device first and syncs in the background. If you lose your connection, keep working. Your changes go up when you are back online. A few things need the server, like sharing and calendar sync. Marbler tells you when one of them is waiting for a connection.
